What this form is for
Form IX is the monthly account of spirit, a return that reconciles the opening stock, quantity manufactured, quantity supplied to the Central and State Governments, quantity disposed of otherwise, and closing stock at a distillery, all in spirit proof litres. It is filed after each month by the licensee or the manager of the distillery. The form is prescribed under rule 13(2) of the Maharashtra Distillation of Spirit and Manufacture of Potable Liquor Rules, 1966, and appears under the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949.
