What this form is for
Form III is the Survey Register, a record of the wash and spirit position at a distillery, covering wash-back testing, notices to remove wash, the condition of stills and spirit receivers, and the labels used. It is maintained for each survey by the officer who inspects the distillery, and it is used whenever a declaration or notice to remove wash is received or a survey of the stills and receivers is carried out. It is prescribed under rules 7(1) and 9(2) of the Maharashtra Distillation of Spirit and Manufacture of Potable Liquor Rules, 1966.
