What this form is for

Form B is a transport pass that authorises the movement of liquor intended for use in manufacturing medicinal and toilet preparations, specifying the liquors, permitted quantities, route, origin and destination, and the time by which the consignment must arrive. It is issued by the Inspector of Prohibition and Excise to a licensee who needs to move such liquor between two points, for example from a source to the manufacturing premises. The pass is granted under Rule 15 of the Bombay Medicinal and Toilet Preparations (Use of Liquor) Rules, 1955, read with the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949. The consignment must not be broken in transit.
