What this form is for
Form A-II is a monthly return that records the liquor a licensee received and used, along with the closing balance, for making spirituous medicinal preparations and/or toilet preparations. It is filed every month by the holder of a licence to manufacture such preparations using liquor, and it accounts for opening stock, purchases or receipts, quantities used, and the preparations produced. The form is prescribed under rule 8 of the Bombay Medicinal and Toilet Preparations (Use of Liquor) Rules, 1955, which were framed under the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949.
