What this form is for
Form C.L. XXII is a register that records the receipt and sale of country liquor at a licensed retail shop where the liquor is manufactured, tracking opening balances, quantities received from the wholesale licensee, bottled and loose sales, and closing stock by variety and strength. It is maintained by the holder of the retail licence, or an authorised agent, who must make entries and sign them as stock is received and sold. The form is prescribed under rule 33 of the Maharashtra Country Liquor Rules, 1973, and appears in the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949 compilation.
