What this form is for
FORM BR-II is a register that records the quantity of beer or wine drawn as samples for analysis, along with how much was used and how much was returned to the main bulk. It is maintained by the brewery or manufactory, with the officer in charge initialling each entry, whenever samples are taken from a batch for testing. The form is prescribed under rule 9(3) of the Maharashtra Manufacture of Beer and Wine Rules, 1966, and it appears in the schedule of forms published with the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949.
