What this form is for
Form BR-VIII is the application used to seek permission to remove beer or wine from a brewery or manufactory after the applicable excise duty and transport fee have been paid. It is filed by the licensee, or the licensee's authorised agent, with the Brewery Officer or Manufactory Officer whenever a consignment of beer or wine is to be cleared for a stated purpose and transported to a named destination by rail or road. The form is prescribed under rule 13(1) of the Maharashtra Manufacture of Beer and Wine Rules, 1966.
