What this form is for
Form "Certificate-1" is a certificate issued by an Excise Officer at the place of export, confirming that a consignment of spirituous preparations has been packed and sealed under official supervision. It is completed when a person holding an import pass receives spirituous preparations from premises in another location, and the officer certifies the details of the consignment (preparation, packaging, quantity and strength) and that the receptacles were securely packed and sealed with his official seal in his presence. It is prescribed under rule 6 of the Maharashtra Spirituous Preparations (Import and Export) Rules, 1963.

The description of spirituous preparation to be exported— (a) Name of the spirituous preparation (together with the name of the manufacturer) (b) Quantity (c) Alcoholic strength of the spirituous preparation.
