What this form is for
Form BR-VII is a register that records the movement of finished beer or wine through the store room of a brewery or manufactory, showing opening stock, receipts from the bottling room, issues against transport or export passes, and closing balance. It is maintained by the licensee of the brewery or manufactory, and is signed by the licensee and the supervising excise officer, for each variety of beer or wine stored. The form is prescribed under rule 10(3) of the Maharashtra Manufacture of Beer and Wine Rules, 1966, and is reproduced alongside the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949.
