What this form is for
Form M-E is a monthly statement of molasses that records the opening balance, quantities received, quantities issued and the closing balance for the month. It is filed by the holder of an M-II licence, who must account each month for molasses issued for sale as directed by the State Government, for the purpose specified in the licence, or for destruction, dryage or wastage. The form is prescribed under rule 39(5) of the Bombay Molasses Rules, 1955, framed under the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949.
