What this form is for
Form M-B is the Total Stock Register of Molasses, a running record of molasses received, issued and held in each storage tank or receptacle, with opening and closing balances and any wastage. It is maintained by the holder of an M-I licence, typically a sugar or gur factory or other molasses licensee, who must make entries whenever molasses is received or issued. The register is prescribed under rule 38(3) of the Bombay Molasses Rules, 1955, framed under the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949.
