Requisition for issue of spirit from the spirit room for the fortification of wine.

What this form is for
Form BR-Q is a requisition used to obtain rectified spirit, absolute alcohol or brandy from the spirit room for fortifying wine. It is submitted by a wine licensee or his authorised agent to the Manufactory Officer whenever spirit is needed for fortification, stating the quantity, strength and varieties of wine to be fortified. The form is issued as a counterfoil kept by the licensee and a foil kept by the Manufactory Officer, who records the quantity issued. It is prescribed under rule 8 (5) of the Maharashtra Manufacture of Beer and Wine Rules, 1966.
