What this form is for
Form BRST is a register that records every transaction in the spirit room of a beer or wine manufactory, tracking rectified spirit, absolute alcohol and brandy from opening balance through receipts and issues to closing balance. It is maintained by the licensee of the manufactory, who enters each receipt of spirit against its indent and transport pass and each issue against a requisition, and the register is also signed by the manufactory officer. The form is prescribed under rule 8(3) of the Maharashtra Manufacture of Beer and Wine Rules, 1966.
