Indent for spirit for the fortification of wine
[See rule 8 (2)]
What this form is for
Form BRIND is an indent, issued in original, duplicate and counterfoil, that requests a supplier to release a stated quantity of rectified spirit, absolute alcohol or brandy for fortifying wine. It is completed by a wine manufactory licensee or an authorised agent, and countersigned by the Manufactory Officer, whenever the licensee needs spirit for fortification. The original goes to the supplier, the duplicate is kept as the Manufactory Officer's record, and the counterfoil stays with the licensee. It is prescribed under rule 8 (2) of the Maharashtra Manufacture of Beer and Wine Rules, 1966.
