FORM C. L. XVII
Pass for the transport of duty paid country liquor from the licensed premises of a person holding a wholesale licence to the licensed premises of a licensed retail shop
[See rules 18 and 31 (3) and condition 9 of the licence in Form C.L., II]
What this form is for
Form C.L. XVII is a transport pass that authorises the movement of duty-paid country liquor from a wholesale licensee's licensed premises to a licensed retail shop. It is issued by the wholesale licensee against an indent in Form C.L. XXI raised by the retail licensee. The pass is prepared in four parts: one stays with the issuer, one travels with the consignment, and two go to the Inspectors of Prohibition and Excise for the dispatch and destination areas. It is authorised by rules 18 and 31(3) of the Maharashtra Country Liquor Rules, 1973, and condition 9 of the licence in Form C.L. II.
