What this form is for
Form D.S.P. - 5 is an export pass for denatured spirituous preparations, issued in multiple parts: one for the issuing office's record, one travelling with the consignment, and one forwarded to the destination authority. It is filed by a holder of a D.S.P. licence who wants to move denatured spirituous preparations out of Maharashtra to a shop or premises elsewhere, and the pass is issued under the Collector's seal. The pass is valid only up to a stated date and requires the goods to travel as a single consignment with its bulk unbroken in transit. It is authorised by Rule 20 of the Maharashtra Denatured Spirituous Preparations Rules, 1963, read with the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949.
