Register of daily sales of denatured spirituous preparations
Form D.S.P. 2-B is a register in which a denatured spirituous preparation licensee records each day's sales, including the quantity sold in litres and bottles, the buyers, and their licence numbers where applicable. It is maintained by the holder of a D.S.P. licence, and it is also used by retail licensees, who leave out the columns on sales to other licensees and exports. Entries are made on each day of sale and are signed by the licensee or his authorised nokar, so the register serves as a running sales record for the licensing authority to inspect. It is prescribed under the Maharashtra Denatured Spirituous Preparations Rules, 1963, framed under the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949.
