What this form is for
Form D.S.P. 1-B is a register in which a licensee records the receipt, use and balance of denatured spirit consumed in making denatured spirituous preparations. It is maintained by the holder of a D.S.P. 1 licence, who must make entries for the licence period whenever spirit is received from a supplier or used in manufacture, so that stock can be reconciled. The form is prescribed under the Maharashtra Denatured Spirituous Preparations Rules, 1963, and appears alongside the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949.
