What this form is for
Form C.L. VII is a register that records every movement of spirit in and out of the spirit room of a country liquor manufactory, covering opening stock, receipts, issues, wastage and closing balance in bulk and proof litres. It is maintained by the licensee, with entries countersigned by the supervising excise officer, whenever spirit is received into, issued from, or lost from the spirit room. The form is prescribed under rule 6(17)(f) of the Maharashtra Country Liquor Rules, 1973, framed under the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949.
